This website was an interesting challenge. The client wanted a website for his executive apartments in the city of Edmonton, Canada. Something interesting that many renters are doing because of the decline of the model with Airbnb.
The main and most difficult functionality to achieve was the property search and filter system. I did it with Woocommerce, completely removing the payment and sales functionality, and adding the YITH Booking and Appointment plugin.
After solving that, it was necessary to find a way for the client to add new properties without too much hassle. So I created Custom Fields for the products, where I could specify all kinds of data that would auto-populate in the Divi template.
It was important that the product pages had a quote form, something complex to achieve with most form plugins. I decided to use YITH WooCommerce Request A Quote Premium + Gravity Forms, to make it easy and direct for users, and making future automation easy for the customer.
Finally, the client requested to implement an internal chat system. I did it with another YITH plugin: YITH Live Chat Premium.
Thanks to the abundance of references, it was relatively easy to define a modern and clean aesthetic. I decided to use marine colors: navy blue, aquamarine green and a beige that served to highlight just a few sections.
The result left me quite satisfied and the client too.
